Bell Partners Announces Appointment of Sarah Young as Chief Financial Officer Upon Planned Retirement of John Tomlinson

Former Quarterra CFO Brings 17 Years of Industry Experience to Bell Partners
GREENSBORO, N.C. – July 9, 2025 – Bell Partners (the “Company”) announced today that Sarah C. Young has been appointed to succeed John Tomlinson as Chief Financial Officer upon Mr. Tomlinson’s planned retirement effective August 22, 2025. Ms. Young joined the company today and will report to Lili Dunn, CEO and President of Bell Partners. After his retirement, Mr. Tomlinson will remain as an advisor to the company through the end of 2025 to further support the company and facilitate an orderly transition.

Ms. Young previously served as CFO and senior managing director at Quarterra Group (a subsidiary of Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders), where she worked for 10 years managing financial operations and strategic planning for the organization and its residential platforms. As a member of Quarterra’s Investment Committee, she was actively involved in high-level strategic decisions, contributing to the company’s business performance across various platforms, including multifamily, single-family and land finance. Before her tenure at Quarterra, Ms. Young was part of the finance group at Walton Street Capital, where she managed equity commitments across several funds. She began her career at Ernst & Young LLP after earning a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

As CFO, Ms. Young will lead the Company’s accounting, corporate finance, tax, financial planning and analysis, legal, compliance and risk management teams. She will also serve on the Company’s Executive and Investment Committees, helping guide the Company’s strategic direction, business policies, and investment decisions.
